What you should know is that Adderall is speed, and it is addictive. If it revved you up (is that what you meant by "crazy"?) you should not be taking it. That is not the effect it has on someone with ADD.
I have seen several posts from adults who only use the medication on an "as needed" basis. (sometimes only1 or 2 times a week). This way they also don't start building up a resistance and needing higher and higher doses.
I have not heard of it causing the muscle tension. On the other hand, if it was acting more like "speed" and causing you to practice way more then you normally would and at a faster pace, etc - than you might experience those symptoms due to the change in your practice routine. And if that's the case, then it could be a misdiagnosis.
Hope this helps.
There are many people who are misdiagnosised .And like said already Adderall is just like speed. And can cause very bad side effects, like Seizures.I am not a Doctor but it sounds like you might of had a Seizure witch can happen from taken these drugs they use along with other very bad side effects.
Try taken Vitamin B6 and B12 and Omega 3-6-9 every day and see if that helps you in time to be able to do things better. These don't have all the very bad side effects that the drugs they use for adhd or even bipolar.
if you stay taken them or notice that the same things happen again have your doctor send you to get a EEG done to make sure everything is normal with your brian. And if you are not sure about wheather you are having any kind of a seizure there are viedos on youtube you can watch.
Thanks for all your answers!
