Thats a good idea! I think there is a good chance that at least some adults don't post because they see all of the topic titles which are pretty much child orientated. I'll pass the idea along. Thanks for posting!
Thank you, I don't post for that same reason. Adult add is real, but the current forum is geared towards children.
Hi, Healthadvisory,
The posts in this community tend to run the gamut, and this does serve a useful purpose. Of the most recent posts, more than 1/3 are specifically about adults, and a few others don't seem to be related to any particular age group. The remaining questions about children may be useful to an adult who hasn't been diagnosed, as they discuss symptoms that an adult may recognize from his/her own childhood.
Another thing to consider is that an adult who was untreated in childhood may have discovered successful behavioral strategies along the way, and may have some valuable insight for a parent struggling to help his/her child feel empowered.
If you're looking for a place where ADD in childhood isn't discussed, you might want to think about starting a user group to discuss strategies for Adult ADD/ADHD. These groups are moderated by the person who starts the group, and can be made public, private, or invitation-only.

Thanks Claire, good points. I do like the idea of a user group! Hopefully, healthadvisory will look into that!
I will definately look into that this coming weekend. Thank you.
