I am on 70 mg of vyvanse. I woke up this morning and took my pill. I fell back to sleep and woke up 2 hrs later and took my pill, forgetting i had already taken it. So, 140 mg of this. However I have been on diff types of this medication for soooooo long. I am now on vyvanse because yrs of dexedrine 3 times a day which is much stronger, was not working because of my tolerance. So idk if that makes a difference, but I called my doctor and said I will def be fine. Also, and this is more for me obviously, put them in a pill box so if you see it is gone, you know you have taken it. All medication like this can give you some memory loss. I am 39 + 2 (yes i refuse to use the forty word as i do not look it lol) so memory loss already but i suffered severe memory loss after 2 yrs on desoxyn which is a methamphetamine. Just be very careful but hunny you are going to be fine.
Glad to hear it. get plenty of fluids back in your system after all that throwing up.
Hi. Thank you for your information. I do not have any other of those symptoms. I read online where this guy said he took 300 Mg all at once and was on the verge of OD. I only had 120. And it was spread out. Yeah I know. Still stupid. But the nausea I think is gone. (Just woke up). Thanks.
The dose is once a day, the stuff is not like adderall. Why would you take take 3 times that amount. I guess it could take another day or so for it to clear out of your system.
If you can't stop puking, you are gonna need to see the emergency ward as that amount would be an overdose. Its really important to start sipping some kind of sports drink to get electrolytes in your system.
I have never had any posters talk about taking that much all at once, so don't know much more. Here is information on an overdose.
Overdosage
Consult with a Certified Poison Control Center for up-to-date guidance and advice for treatment of overdosage. Individual patient response to amphetamines varies widely. Toxic symptoms may occur idiosyncratically at low doses.
Manifestations of acute overdosage with amphetamines include restlessness, tremor, hyperreflexia, rapid respiration, confusion, assaultiveness, hallucinations, panic states, hyperpyrexia, and rhabdomyolysis. Fatigue and depression usually follow the central nervous system stimulation. Cardiovascular effects include arrhythmias, hypertension or hypotension, and circulatory collapse. Gastrointestinal symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps. Fatal poisoning is usually preceded by convulsions and coma.
Good Luck!
