WHY MY SON HAS UPPER TUMMY PAIN FOR TWO YEARS, HE DID BLOOD TEST, UPPER GI AND EXTRA NOW THEY MADE A SCOPE TEST TO BE DONE...

My son is 13 years old,
He used to go to public school till grade 4, I moved him to private school because his behaviour was changing, grade 5 in private school the teachers were say his mark was not good he need to work more, I said to my self he went public till grade 4 and now his going private school maybe that was he's school work are harder. In grade 6 the teacher were complain that he get easily distracted and starring the window sometimes. So I went to doctor and explain what's happening in school, but she said no he's not going through ADHD and not to worry , so I left it like that, but he come home from school stress out he complain school is hard and they give way too much homework, I told him is going all good for your future if you study harder now later you life is going to be easy. They are lot of days that he left his homework behind and tell lie and sometime he act like he doesn't know what happening in the class when I ask question. This got worse his school work and homework start getting behind and his always crying , he said to couple time I rather die going school or staying with family. I always support him and help with his homework and how to catch up at class also be the person you are. Later I found out that his trying so hard and he is and his marks were on and off, I started screen at him for not let me know the marks and not doing his home work. Again then he changes him self as a new person start getting little better at school, but what happen HE STARTED TO GET A ACID IN HIS TUMMY, HE COME HOME WITH PAIN IN UPPER TUMMY. I took him to doctor , she referred him to gastrolist, and gastrologist said he probably having just acid and she give him a acid pills, the pain when a way after few months, also he is been skipping breakfast and his a spicy eater. In grade 7 every thinks start again he when through the same thing and he end up taking acid pills again and during that time also he had a sharp upper tummy pain and more hungry . Now the his having few test like Upper GI, Blood, Ultrasound, X-ray and Scope. Three test done haven't find any think, still need to do ultrasound and Scope. My son is 13 now past two years his pain in and stress way to much for him. as a mother I so worried I don't know what to do about this ????????????
I'M VERY MAD ABOUT THE HOSPITAL'S THEY ARE SAYING NOTHING SERIOUS TO WORRY .
BUT THE EACH APPOINTMENT THEY GIVE IS LIKE 3-4 MONTH A WAY, IF SOOTHING GOES WRONG TO MY SON I WOULDN'T HAPPY ABOUT THE HEALTH CARE SERVICE IN ONTARIO.
I told the doctors straight up , my friend died of an upper sharp pain and didn't treated on time.
or his having gallbladder attack or ulcer, or stress but there not doing the test faster to find out what wrong with him. They seems like they're taking time and doing it. Look like to me till any think get worse they can't find out whats wrong.
HIS A CHILD ONLY 13 HE NEED TO BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY

I think he might have anxiety, esp if he said he would rather die than go to school.  Yes, here in the US, private schools don't offer as many services as public schools. If your child has issues, I think the public school system can definitely serve them better than a private school.  Also, sometimes I think private schools only want "perfect" children, whereas a public school HAS to take everyone!  

Could you get into a counselor and see waht they think.  

I am sorry it takes so long to get appts, how horrible and you pay a lot of taxes for all this.  THat's why I don't want the US system to become socialized!

in 6th grade it was a family doctor that told me ...
ya I will do more research about the Answer book, at the mean time I'll go see the Pediatric doctor and ask if he going through ADD

   The stomach stuff really sounds like its stress related. I've experienced it my self as have my kids.   And its probably related to what's happening in school.  What kind of a doctor did you see for him in 6th grade who said its not ADHD?  Was it just a general practitioner?   His symptoms sound very much like ADD, not ADHD.  In fact, I would not be at all surprised to see this happening at his age if he has ADD.  Some kids keep the anxiety bottled up inside of them, and others turn to drugs and worse to deal with it.
   I don't know how the private schools work in Canada, but in the states its pretty hard to get any type of special education help or diagnosis from them as they can't afford it.
   You do have to find out what is going on.  Your child will be a wreck by high school!  I would a pediatric psychiatrist and seek their help.  If you want to do a bit of research before than, then I suggest you buy (Amazon has it),  "The ADD/ ADHD Answer book," by Susan Ashley.
   And you are absolutely right - a child does need to be healthy and happy!
