Please help me identify the situation

First some background...once I tripped and i cut a bit of my palm on ice.  Later after about a month or two it was mostly sealed up and recovered.  A metal edge of a ruler scratched the same area but with no serious injury but a sting on the skin.  After a while, I noticed my injury was opening again. Two small dots the size of a pinpoint and a small batch of brownish skin developed underneath the cracking skin.  I tried digging it out myself, in case it was bacteria or something but I was unable to.  What caused this? Is there a cure? Is it serious?

Not infected.  Just leave it alone and it will heal.

Thats cool.  no problem.  I am guessing just cause I have had similar experiences that there was some dirt or kind of debris left behind.  If there has been no pus or swelling or inflamation, its probably ok.  I would make sure that you are using an antibiotic cream where you tried to dig it out.
If you do see any signs of redness or pus or swelling, then see a doctor as soon as possible.   And, of course, it never hurts to get a docs opinion.  I am just going on what has happened to me in the past.
