Wiggly Infant- Is this Normal?

My 3 month old daughter is very active. Normally I'd think that is a good thing, but after seeing other babies in my family I am starting to wonder.

She had a normal birth, I went completely natural and she was born quickly. She was an okay weigh- 6 1/2 pounds, so nothing to worry about there.

However, since she was 2 months old she has been very active. We joke that she needs to wiggle. She moves when she is happy and upset. She mostly moves her arms and legs, but sometimes her neck.  We have to swaddle her tightly to get her to go to sleep,

She seriously moves like a toddler who is throwing a fit! Her doctor has said she has very strong muscles-- she can turn over, push up, and almost sit up, but he did not mention any concerns about her activity.

Is this normal behavior, or could my infant be too active?

I thought I could post questions to medical professionals on this site? Is there a different place that I should have posted it?

To answer that I would have to have seen lots of babies so I could compare them.  I haven't.  Your pediatrician has and that is the person to specifically ask.
