MUSCLE SPASM

I had an MRI of the neck and brain. The brain came out completely normal but the neck showed that I had a slight muscle spasm. I've been having headaches and blurry vision for the last 5 days. I'm a 22 yr old female and scared I may have ALS.. anyone have any insight? Would an MRI pick up if I had ALS? Thanks.

Thank you for your insight. Can I rule out ALS from my symptoms? I have no other aches or pains, just the muscle spasm in my neck.

No MRI doesn't detect ALS and it's great news your emg is normal.

ALS doesn't affect vision, headaches only occur in ALS when ones breathing muscles die as one is unable to breathe out carbon dioxide.

Good luck
