CEO of Merril Lynch spent a million on office remodel while company was going under ! Grrrrrrr

He spent 8,700 for a rug for his office. He took millions in bonuses and had his hand out for our money.  I swear I want to round up all these guys, take every dime they have and make them live in the projects. Like McCain's buddy who was CEO of Hewlett Packard. She took over 4 million in a golden parachute and laid off hundreds of workers.  How do these people sleep at night ?

they have been doing this forever.........given the state of the economy........its not looking so acceptable.  Nothing new.  Everything happens for a reason and maybe we needed this to put the hammer down on these jerks...........

The woman from HP is Carley Fiorina. I agree, CEO compensation is obscene. In her defense, she was fired and didn't quit. The idiots are the boards of directors that allow these compensation plans when the company is on the ropes. I'm not a corporation hater at all. I hope they all can make as much profit as possible. When people complain about Exxon making huge profits it just makes me so mad. These corporations are making money for every person with a 401(k), IRA and retirement plan. I hope they all make as much money as possible. But, the golden parachutes have gotten out of hand.
