I would get them on board. They will be more than willing to help you help yourself. It will also help you stay clean as they will know your past. This is a very good thing. Lorazepam if I remember correctly. He said I would need it no more than 10 days at 3 a day. I still have a ton left. Only took it when I was having ill thoughts and confusion.

when you say anti-anxiety from your doctor.. what did you take that helped? I keep vascillating about calling my primary doctor for help with my detox. I'm thinking I probably should... i hear people saying they are using benzos to help with w/d?

Adding to trama, put ginger and baking soda in that bath as well. Day 6 was the worst for me. My wife was worried I could not do this alone. With a lil anti-anxiety from the Doctor, I breezed it after day 6. Mild exercise will help so much.

This is probably the last thing you need to hear right now but so you know and can plan,,here's the deal..Next two days are going to be horrible and the roughest. So button down, bite your tongue, and think about how you are going to be thinking back to this day in 2 days. You will be there thinking back before you know it. And keep talking. We all know how rough it is.

Hi!  Ok....do you have immodium?  Advil and Tylenol?  Take a hot bath too.  If you have some epsom salt to put in it, that's good too.  Drink juice, water and gatorade.  

Tell me what symptoms you have right now.  The thomas recipe on the health pages will help you if you can get the stuff on it.
