A medication to quit subs NO W/D?!

Here me out. I was on suboxone 8 miligrams did ocs for 2 years. Suboxone is  great you can deffianntly feel it ven if u are addicted your not high your just happy, and waht to get stuff done and feel like you used to. Now this si the fastest was I got off suboxon,. I had gotten methadone pills and took 1 a day for exactly 2 weeks, not one day more because then I would just get addicted to that. After that was done I was used to not having the subs and the methadone was easy to quit because screw W/D from thatr pshh. But now My problem---I am back on suboxone, my daughjter just passed away. I cannot get methadone pills so is there any other medication I can take that can get rid of W/D? I was thinking valium would do the best for me, but I just want something that will make me feel myself.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your daughter. I can't imagine how difficult that must be.
As far as a medication to get off sub, some people do use benzos such as valium for a brief period. But as an addict you have to be extremely careful. It can be all too easy to get addicted to another substance.
If you look in the health pages, which can be found in the upper right hand side of the page, you will see the Thomas Recipe or Amino Acid Protocol. They list a bunch of vitamins and supplements to aid in withdrawal.
How many mgs of sub are you prescribed and how long have you been taking it? With sub it is best to taper down very slow and get down to the lowest dose possible before stopping for good.
