Hi everyone!! I feel amazing today & so proud of myself and everyone else on the forum . I have a tip for those still feeling lethargic. I have been taking vitamins and having a energy drink once a day. Makes all the differance in the world. I don't recommend energy drinks while you ar in the acute stages of withdrawel because it will just amplify your symptoms and make you feel like a tweek but, on day 14 it is like night and day. It is like a veil has been lifted. I was driving to the store and noticed the beauty of all the trees and wonderful colors that I had not seen in years. Simple things bring me joy now. Going to go shopping later with the $300 that I have saved from not buying pills off the street and going to dinner with my hubby later. Haven't done that in forever. Everything is better. My relationship with my mom for sure. I put that woman through hell and back. She was my enabler even though in her mind she didn't want to see her (38 year old baby suffer) We had breakfast yesterday and I apologized for all of the lies stealing and general chaos I caused in her life for the past 13 years and told her that I loved and apprecited her for the first time in months and meant it instead of just saying it to get what I want. <3 you all KEEP IT UP!!! You are all amazing and I have MEGA respect for all of you.

I cannot wait till I can say that with honestly. and feel like that...So much respect for you going through that. It's kinda hard for me barely any support where I'm at and people judges me so yeah....Happy for you so much!!!!! Hopefully I will be posting this POSITIVE post soon.

AWESOME JOB!! keep up the good work, been on drugs for about 20 years now half my life, on sub now down to .5mg cant hardly wait to say 2 weeks clean i hope, anyone thinking about getting on sub take my advice i"ve done every drug under the sun and withdrawl on them all, sub is the worst, i tried to stop about 1 year ago and tappered to 1mg and had to work i thought i was dying, went back to the doctor and started tappering myself, i dint know how strog this drug was! nice job on 2 weeks keep up the good work!!

@ selfinduced, loperimide is immodium. a lifesaver and better for more than just the trots. studdies actually show that in larger doses it can abate 75 percent of withdrawal discomfort because it is structurally similar to opiates but DOES NOT cross the bbb.

I do not take any scipted meds besides the ibu 800 which is why i decided on a more natural mood enhancer that works on several brain chemicals rather than the standadr ssri meds. thank you so much. /i really hope im not being naieve about my detox. i do have that fear that r5ight around the corner is the hell i knew as wd. keeping my thoughts positive and fingers crossed.

(to TCorley)  About the SAM-E and any other herbal remedy, please check with your doc. If you are taking an antodepressant like trazadone and many others you can't take SAM-E, and also some hearbal remedies interfere with each other, so check with your doc first

What is loperimide? Curious?

maybe i am a little different  than most. maybe its the amino acids, or the SAM E that is saving my life or maybe its the heroic doses of valerian but for me the hardest part of detox is always the mental anguish not the physical wd. natter of fact i have verry little physical wd and what i do have is abated with loperimide. Dont kno how to conquer the boredom tho. any thoughts???
