tramadol is higly addictive if you take more the prescribed you can have seizures it also work as an ssri anti depressant so its a double whammy coming off of I would stay far away from tramadol i have taken oxy hydro they were both a picnic to come off compared to the the tramadiol.
My pain management specialst prescribed several things for me to help me get off hydrocodone (lortab), including Tramadol. I only take about 50 mg of it a day, if that though. Other prescriptions have helped with cravings and sleeping. Go see a pain management specialist so you will be supervised while you're getting off the Oxy.
I don't want to seem glib or curt but, there's no free lunch. The only way out is to deal with the withdrawals. You can do a number of things that may help, the thomas recipe and various amino acid suppliments, but the bottom line... There's two ways out and you're still alive after one of them. It doesn't seem like it at the time but a couple weeks of WDs and another couple months of low energy is a small price to pay to be free. There's absolutely no doubt you can do it. You just have to decide that what you want.
Yes, I have experience. And I got addicted to tramadol. You can have a seizure if you take too much of it too. The thing is that the WDs are the only way to get free of the oxy. You can take tram for the WDs, but when you stop the tram, you will have to go through them then! There are things you can do to help the symptoms without getting another addictive substance involved.
Good luck! You can do this! You will get a lot of help here.
