Can an Additionologist tell your spouse about your addiction?

I went to this guy yesterday, he told me I had to tell my husband, I have a problem w/ Soma.  I told him I did not want my husband to know.  When I filled out my med. form I put my husbands work number, can he call him and tell him??  He wants to see me tomorrow (11-14) not going back to him, he was not very understanding.  I going to do try and do the tapering system.  Then go to my Doc. for something for depression.  Any thoughts?  Please tell me I have nothing to worry about...you guys are the greatest!

Thanks for any input :) hugs to you all.

In reference to your question on Chatahan---you may want to read some of the posts on the 12th thread down titled "Going to first AA Meeting....".  I think the reason she may have been banned cause she "threatened" someone with a machete...I've gotten a couple of e-mails from her and she sounds like she's going through a rough stretch. Haven't heard from her in a couple of days, though.  To tell you the truth, I miss her posts. I realize her behavior was a little erratic and unorthodox at times, but I truly don't think she meant any harm---just venting in my opinion. She needed help and compassion instead of being kicked off the board. I let her know I welcome her e-mails anytime. When I first came to the board, she was one of the first to jump in and answer my posts, and offer support.  So whatever anyone else thinks of her, so be it.  She's still OK in my book.  Sugarbeens - have a great weekend.  Take care, Lisabet

God, forgive her.  For she knows not of what she speaks.
Amen.

I don't think Chatahan can post - she told me in an e-mail that she was banned from the board.

I had an interesting discussion with my brother a couple days ago.  He had been born again, and is very happy with his new-found faith.  I am happy for him.  I asked him about the second coming thing, and we had a long discussion about the fact that if He did show up and claimed to be Christ, many people who probably just think he was crazy.

That being said, why does God have to forgive me for saying that? I was only pointing out that most people don't believe in miracles. Chatahan claimed he/she could speak Native American fluently after a seizure or something...everyone laughed at him and gave him ****.  My comment was along the same lines...seeing is believing in this society for the most part.  It's too bad...I like the thought that miracles can happen, and I believe it.
