You remember that disaster huh?! Lol. It's not funny but man what a wreck! That is probably the single biggest reason I have not gotten back into heavy heavy usage. So that in itself is a small victory. Now I'm nervous jumping from 3 or 4 vics a day for a few weeks when I was approaching 180mg oxy or more per day for months. But yep. Feeling good now. It's Friday. Got paid. Going to enjoy my new scenery here :)
Hey I remember you! You jumped off a high dose of oxy around the same time I tried to taper off sub. I messed it up then but finally did it. It's been just over 2 weeks now clean'n yep, music, sex all that good stuff is waaay better off opiates. Let the wds stay fresh in your mind if that helps to deter you. I felt like crap this entire summer during my taper but stuck with it. It paid off, I had wds yes but nuthin like full blown oxy wds. Sounds like tapering helped you too and kudos for being able to taper off oxy. Not something I was ever able to do. Your free now!! Stay that way k? So will I. :)
Good to see you here again. You sound a lot different in your writing, better, more confident! You will get to that 90 days, just keep doing what you're doing. Keep fighting :)
if it is working for you, go for it, welcome back :)
I would LOVE to get to 90 days though. :)
It's a energy balance bracelet. They are rubber with a little hologram in them. Well 2 hollograms on this one. Anyway I know the powerbands that are similar were supposed to be garbage and a hoax but these people sweat by. You see like tons of pro athletes wearing them. Like I said could be coincidence BUT my pain level is WAAAAY down. And it's really more like day 5 for me with the crumbs that I was taking. As far as aftercare i don't known nothing has worked. Counceling was worthless to me and so were meetings. I'm just not that person I guess I'll have to figure it out some how. I know one motivation is i HATE WD probably more than anyone on the planet and honestly after my horrific exoerience back last December i not
Been perfect but been a pretty good boy as far as really watching my usage and cutting it right off at the first sign of things getting out of hand. I have had some moderate WD,s since December but nothing total debilitating as that whole month. I
Think i learned allot from that. Other than that i moved hundreds of miles from my dealer people and pretty much all of my money is paying for things i need. House car bills, and there are some things i WANT and i keep telling myself $300 for pills this pay period could have bought you this and that. Well that seems to be some real motivation right now :). Well see
Hi and Welcome back! It's great that you've been off the meds for 2 days now..I'm not sure what kind of bracelet you're talking about - I must have missed that infomercial :). Is it a magnetic bracelet? Some people swear by them.
Keep your guard up though, since it's only been 2 days sans any medication. Do you have any aftercare in place such as NA or one on one counseling?
Glad everything is "so far so good" for you right now. I hope it continues.
Well wishes to you....
Sandy :)
