Day 1 of detox, Feel great.

Hi all. Day 1 of detox is going great. Havent had a symptom yet. I havent had anything since 9:30 last nite. I have started a journal comparing my last detox from oxy c/t to this detox from norco taper. I am very curious if the taper makes a difference. This can come in very handy for those who are deciding on which way to go, CT or TAPER. I am sure the symptoms will start tonite tho (hopefully not as bad). The nites are rough for me. Anyways I will post on my journal again tonite when i see how these go. And again thanks to all of you because without you guys this would never had been possible for me.

41 hours now. I have gotten a little more tired than earlier this morning. Feel a little hung over but nothing to bad. Slept good last nite. Not much of an appetite but i can still eat without having to force myself. I have a headache again. My symptoms are just about the same that i had during tapers only I am more tired. So far so good. Thank you all for your support. Also I had some people asking me about my taper schedule so I posted it in my journal.

Hey!!! I'm very happy for you and you're choice to get sober. I wish you all the luck in the world. But keep posting and stay positive. Even if it does get hard, stay on track and stay positive, you can do this! I'm on day 25, I'm on Suboxone and for me it works really good with the cravings and in the 1st week, the withdrawal. The nights are the worst for me too, but with the Suboxone, it made it so much easier! Good luck to you! Stay stong!!!

I have had 2 total knee replacments on the same knee, The 1st one, the ball was too big and it become lose, so i am in terribe pain for about 6 monthseuntil another surgeon decided to help me. I am doing good now with the knees, nbut i have dead muscles and my nerves are killing me. My insurance is about to run out and I can not offord anymore, so i am asking for help on what should i do? anything will be helpful. Do I need to go cold turl\key? I have been on this pain \meds for over 4 years now. i know I main big trouble now;. I am so last as to what to do., i jhear all these stories about people and it really scares me. I ned some insurance just to keep my meds going until I get out of pain. Does anybody have any suggestins on any unsurance companies that would be willing to help me/ and of coarse I got turned down for disability. of coarse. I thnk I am totally screwed.

Congrats too you! I hope your tomorrow is as good as today. You never know, it just might be! Wishing you so much success I know you will do great. Im following you, as Im on day 5 of tapering. So far Im good, almost another day gone. I plan going down a little more on Monday! I will say a little prayer for you tonight!

I JUST READ YOUR COMMENTS ON THE FORUM, I TOO AM STARTING A TAPER TODAY FROM 40/60MG OXYCINTIN. I HAVE GONE COLD TURKEY ON 2 OTHER ATTEMPTS, HAD PAIN CRISIS'S STARTED USING THE DREADED DEMON AGAIN.
THE LASTTIME I WAS CLEAN FOR 77 DAYS, I FAILED TO TRY ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF TREATMENT AND NOW HAVE SLOWLY WORKED MYSELF BACK UP TO THE DOSE MENTIONED. I AM VERY SENSITIVE TO ANY TYPE OF MEDICATION WHETHER IT IS ANTIBIOTICS, PAINKILLERS OR VITAMINS, A LOW DOSE JUST OVER POWERS ME. I WISH YOU MUCH SUCCESS........PM ME IF I CAN OFFER ANY SUPPORT.
