i have doing drugs xanax about 2 or 3 mg twice a week percocet around 60 or 60 mg weekly and smoke marajauna
daily probably 1/2 oz. whats gonna happen to my unborn child?

I just had my baby in Jan and I went through this if you have questions you can ask me.  I was taking oxy while pregnant and I can tell you what they do if you want.

Whether or not the baby will suffer withdrawals, depends on what and how much you're taking at birth. One important thing to know is they WILL drug test your baby without your consent, and depending upon the results, they can, and will take the baby I'd it seems you have made no attempt at quoting, or at least letting someone know ahead of time. If you ask for help, you will get it gladly, and it won't be held against you at that point. Otherwise, it appears as though you were hiding it, and they don't make the decision after birth, as to whether you were hiding it because you were scared, or because you are an addict who didn't care. Believe me, I'm not trying to scare you, just telling you the truth. Sometimes the truth is hard to hear. You have come to the forum, so you obviously know you need help, so GET IT, before it's too late. Time flies, and nine months will slip up on you fast, even though I'm sure each day you wake up thinking, today is the day I'm going to do something about this. Know what I mean?  Now as for the drugs themselves, yes Xanax is very bad for the baby, but the percs you should be ok with, just begin a taper and then quit, or whatever your Dr. suggests, as he will make the best decision for you and baby. As for the weed, it can also cause problems, such as cleft palate, among other things. Believe it or not, the way pot and alcohol work during pregnancy is tricky. One glass of alcohol can affect a fetus, depending on what organ, limb, brain cell, happens to be developing that particular day. Crazy huh?  A lot of people will tell you smoking weed won't hurt the baby. In fact, I'd almost bet the people who say that, go on to say...when I was pregnant, I smoked, and my baby is fine. I've heard that a million times, and although it's simply justification, almost always I've noticed that the children they speak of tend to be a little slower in one capacity or a other. Anyway, as this is all just my opinion, Dr.'s orders are always best of course. Even if he believes you should begin a suboxone regimen, or what-not, listen to him, as he knows best, and I PROMISE you're not the first patient that has come to him with this problem. He will be a LOT more understanding, willing to help, and even kind, if you go to him with your baby's best interests at heart. Good luck.

yes, i agree with avisg, taped slowly of the oxy if you can.  You are not on that much so it may not be so bad on  you.  Xanax is very bad for babies and avisg is right can cause serious defects.

YES you can be harming your baby  xanax can cause serious birth defects how far along are u? I would get into a recovery program ASAP you also need to come clean with your OBGYN .the oxy needs to be taped slowly the OB can help you with a taper plan stop the pot now .

You need to talk to your doctor and be honest with them about what drugs you have ingested.  Please don't put it off.  Your doctor can help you!!!

I mean you are not taking that much percocet so I don't think it is doing any damage to ur baby, have you talked to your dr,

How far along as you???  I was abusing percocets for 10weeks, then I got on subutex at 30weeks.  Subutex has keep me clean.   Sanax is very bad, it is a Class D and can casue harm to you child, PErcocet is a Class C, consider safe, but can cause problems.  I am not sure about the marajaua.  How far are you and how long have you been doing these drugs??
