For me, one of the only truly positive things I will say for certain is that suboxone helped keep cravings away.  I had a few in the beginning, but really did not crave at all on suboxone the whole 2 1/2 years I was on it.  That being said, you should really really do your research on it to see all aspects of what its about.  There is a lot of good information on here about sub, so take some time and look into it.  Mainly its used for physical w/drawal but its my understanding that the naloxone in the suboxone is what blocks the cravings and makes it extremely difficult to get high off of any opiates while using suboxone.  So basically you know the whole time, it doesnt matter what you take, it wont have any effect..  I also think you can get naloxone alone to help with cravings.  Sub is powerful and definitely something you should think carefuly about and educate yourself on.  There is a good and bad side to it.  Good luck!

it can...some people if they were a low quantity user actually get a jolt off of sub...some do not..it keeps the wds away if taken at the right dose and can help cravings since u r not in wds...some still miss the high while on the sub..others do great and use it as a tool including aftercare to get clean...getting off the sub before becoming addicted to it is a goal for some..others use it long term then do a slow taper off..good luck
