Face Breakout After Getting Clean??

is it just me or has anybody else broken out like crazy after they stopped their DOC??!!  i stopped taking hydrocodone 33 days ago and my face is sooo broken out!!  i want to scream!!!  at first it was only one pimple but now i have about 5 noticable pimples on my face!!!  and a bunch of tiny ones on my forehead!!  is this normal with getting clean or is something else possibly going on with me??!!  i have not changed anything in my lifestyle except for not taking the pain pills any longer.  seriously, not even the strongest acne medication i have (tazorac) is getting rid of it!!  i might have to get some antibiotics or something...  i haven't had acne since high school!!!  i am actually someone who always gets complimented on how pretty my skin is!!!  not right now that is for sure!!!  if this is part of the coming clean process can anybody tell me how long does it last??

yeah, i've kinda been on both sides before.....at one time, i noticed a lot more facial breakout (and i usually have none, except for those occasional enlarged pores, ick), but i wonder if that was due to the fact that i wasn't taking care of my skin at the time like i should have been (going thru detox, feeling like ****, didn't wash my face as often as usual, nor my hair, etc.) or if it truly was some kind of reaction to no more hydros in my system.....maybe it's the remaining toxins that are coming out in that fashion??  wouldn't doubt it....

but also, like sara, i've also noticed now (this second time thru this) that my skin has become a litttle drier (hmmmm....maybe just getting old is doing that!!)

wish i could help. i am 46 and get 3 zits a month when mother nature comes to call. on one hand it makes me feel young. on the other hand i'm like, JEEZ, how old do i have to be to quit getting PIMPLES? drink more water? i just don't know. i got proactive for my daughter and it worked practically overnight for her. refining mask i  think it's called. good luck.  sway
