Fibromyalgia and Bleeding

Can anyone answer me...I have Fibromyalgia..Recently I have been getting a LOT of blood in my stool....Sometimes its all blood....Can Fibromyalgia cause this?...

if you are taking lyrica for your condition ...it can cause bloody stools..been there...but everybody is right...go see a doctor

I would get it checked..it does not sound like a fibro symptom unless it is related to some meds u r taking for it...bright red is usually like said above due to hemmerhoids..many narcotic users suffer constipation and thus can have some bleeding from hardness..dont wanna be gross here  (:..anyway..get it checked and be safe

I am not doc either but often bright red blood is due to hemorrhoids and fissures around the rectual area while dark/black blood is often due to internal bleeding.  The internal bleeding is serious.

I have fibro and I know alot of people that do...
and I have never hear of this being a part of it..
I would go see a doctor right away just like kim said

Hon,this is an addiction forum and there are no doctors here.This is really a concern you need to take up with your doctor.I don't really know anything about fibromyalgia,but I think with the symptoms you are having thats a real cause for concern.I think the best advice any of us can give you is to call your doctor ASAP and let them know whats going on.Take care...All the best...Kim
