HELP.......... My ex is making me get back on the methadone

I am so upset and depressed...................I am not having an easy time at all with my wd ct from methadone. I am on the phone right now crying uncontrollably and he said I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE METHADONE on monday. I am wayyyyy depressed and the wd isnt any easier. I am scared.......................

Don't listen to these morons. Suboxone is satan in a pill or in my case a strip. I've been an addict for 25 years. At the top of my pill addiction I was taking 500 to 1000 mgs a day of OxyContin a day. I've been on methadone and suboxone to try and get clean and methadone is a million times easier to kick than suboxone. DON'T GET ON IT!!! You will regret it. The only way I kicked subs was by taking a mixture of oxy and morphine. Subs ruin your mind. I've been clean for a while now and my mind is totally screwed up. The depression is as bad as the withdrawals. Please heed my warning. I only want to save others from the pure hell I am going through.

Call around to a few more Suboxone doctors. The prices vary greatly. You can find all the doctors in your area, go to Suboxone.com.
The suboxone is a much better choice than the methadone. You could be back to work in no time and feeling fine.

You have made it this far, don't give in and let this disease control your life any more.  You can tell yourself there will be a better time to quit.....later.....when we have insurance.....when we have money......when this or that.  Well, what if later never comes?  This disease is a one way street to death and you are fighting for your very life right now.  NOTHING should come between you and stopping.  Take a stand and fight with everything you have in you.  I know you don't think you have it in you right now girl but YOU CAN DO THIS!!!  You have already done it this far.  It will never get any easier whether you have insurance or not.  There will always be a reason it's not good timing to quit.  You owe it to yourself and your little girl to do this.  Don't stop now, you're doing a great job.  The disease is trying to trick you into thinking it's not good timing right now but please please please reconsider starting over!

He doesnt understand. He has no idea about addiction and his motto is cheaper. He is my ex and he suppports me completely financially that is. I inquired about suboxone and the cost at the clinic is insaine I asked him if I could do it and he said NO WAY. I am thinking of going to the er and trying to get some vic or something cause I am not handling this well. I dont even care if I screw up my credit with all these er bills right now.

I agree with gtm...suboxone...in ur case i really would agree with it...it is the better of those 2 drugs i think...talk to ur hubby about this option...info on the drug found in the health pages...i just really think it is the better by far of the 2 choices...let him read too...u dont want to stay on methadone the rest of ur life...u r in wds...it is the perfect time to make the switch

He is mad at me for being so weak. He doesnt want our daughter exposed to me like this. I am so ill. I cant believe its not any better. I have 16 days and still am awful. I cant do it anymore. Its either the methadone clinic or I could end up hurting myself. I have NO insurance and No loved ones and NO help. He says maybe I need to get a job and do this another time when I have insurance and can get help. I am in the beginings of a huge lawsuit that I cant even work on and could lose it all becuase I am so messed up. If I get back on the methadone and finish the suit Id have plenty of money to get help. I am obviously Not a person that can do this alone. I dont know what to do.....................

Methadone is a terrible drug to cold turkey - I do know your pain.....and it takes a long time to get off.........is their a possibility of going to sub at this point? Of the various evils, sub has its place - probably over methadone. Good luck !

no one can make you do anything you do not want do girl. be strong. you did say how long you have been on detox, but BE STONG. Don't let him do this to you.
