You need to be patient as hard as that it.  Sub has such a long half life- I believe it is 21 days before it is completely out of your system.  Just surrender and try not to watch the clock.  I came off of 150 mg of oxy/nalexone cold turkey.  I definitely did not feel remotely human at a week.  But on day 12 I had a board meeting for the non-profit I volunteered at.  I was scared but totally fine.  It felt good to go out and connect with people.  This is also when I began my aftercare extravaganza.  Going back to work will be good, it's good to be busy and time will pass faster.  Just take good care of yourself and drink LOTS of water.  The codeine will not help you, only hinder you.  Have you set up any aftercare yet?  It is absolutely VITAL to successful recovery.  You don't want to be back here ever again and aftercare is the way to learn to cope with life without using.
You can do this!

Thanks for your response. Am at the cinema with partner but can t watch film....just trying to get out the house. I think it is harder as I have been through a trauma very recently and also the pressure to go back to work. I prepared my self to feel physically better by 1 week I knew I would have mental symptoms for longer and insomnia.....I did taper properly. I zolpiclone is helping but I am taking 2 to 3 7.5 a day which is too high and may be makings things worse.....advice? I feel like I have lost myself forever.....there are posts that say this can go on for months....I know nothing of this in past subutex withdrawals....2 times in rehab and as a drugs worker....never seen this PAWS.....but even so it is scaring me. By month I wld expect to be well on the mend but right now I m not so sure.....scared for my job....already been off 5 weeks. Anyone with experience of time frames....feeling bad on day 7 please let me know.....I need hope....thought about otc codeine today for a break but stopped myself.....I cannot fail I want to start a family next year....my life depends on this.....I do not have another recovery in me. Any feedback advice welcome.
