Help please.

My daughter has asked me to post for her...(She feels horrible with sweats/cold and flu like symptoms) and doesnt feel like moving off of the couch.  She has asked if there is anything that will alleviate the hot flashes/cold? She took her last 2 lortab yesterday and is absolutely going nuts...If anyone has an idea of what will help we will sure will appreciate it. She cannot go to an emergency room so hopefully there is something over the counter.

clonidine is a class of drugs called alpha-blockers, most other blood pressure meds are beta blockers, so you can't just take any one.

The only thing that really helps with the cold sweats, etc is clonidine. Does anyone in your family have high BP? They may have some clonidine. Does she not have a way at all to get any?

There really isn't anything OTC that helps with this, showers can help. Also if she hasn't started taking Immdoium pills they also can help take the edge off some of the symptoms.
Clonidine which you have to get from a doctor is the best thing to help with the sweats/chills
