Wow!  This day started like like my others, wanting my "happy friends". I was pi**y for the first part of the day. Took my vitamins, drank viramin water and went to the beach with the fam. I wasn't really feeling it but I tried to put a face on. Afterwards I went to a movie with a friend, got my friskies with my hubby (abd actually wanted to!). Iver all a winderful day 8!!  I can do this!!

Oh yeah - CONGRATS ON DAY 9!!!!  And in a few hours, it will be 10!! (wow!) :)

Well, you're about to give your daughter the BEST birthday present ever - her REAL mommy (even if she doesn't know that, YOU will).  How great is that???  Thanks again for the smile - and yes it feels GREAT to smile without drugs.  Laughing, smiling, even crying with a clear head beats that awful fog I was in any day!  :) p.s. it's easy to compliment your work :)

It feels good to smile, doesn't it?!  Especially a smile not induced by drugs. :). Thanks so much about my painting.  It makes me feel good when others like my work. :). This Saturday my daughter will be 7 and I will be sober for it :)). It's a wonderful feeling!  Day 9!!

It is SO great to hear you talking like this kelseago - it does feel really good when family starts to notice a change.  Definitely a great motivator to keep going.  I saw the new painting too - once again, love the colors you choose!  Your work is so beautiful and I think without drugs, there will be no stopping your obvious talent.

Keep going kels - it will continue to get better (with maybe some off days but nothing you can't handle with a clear head) and the time under your belt will also be a great motivator.  You made me smile so thank you!!  :)

I am so proud of you woman! You're doing all the right things. We have a saying in my CA group: "Fake it til you make it"...lol. Even if you're not feeling it, push yourself and just do it. Be it meetings, or any activities to get you out of your head. And as you found out for yourself, you feel better in no time!

Rock on girl! Glad you are here and walking the walk with us!

im so happy to here your going to N/A we do are best to encourage everybody that detoxes to get involved somewhere im sorry if I have asked in the past I do my best to keep up with everybody now im off to your profile to look at the picture.....I do airbrushing but its been years since I picked up my brush need to dig it out and start drawing again any ways CUDOS to you for the N/A you have no idea how mush you are helping your recovery good luck and God bless......Gnarly

Yes you can, keep going. You will be done in no time, until then, just keep talking to us, and even after then keep talking to us. You will make it and be happier than those "friends" could ever make you :-)
