They tried to make me to go rehab I said YES YES YES!
I haven't posted because I wound up having to go to a detox. Physically couldn't handle withdrawls on my own. It was also about learning to live my life sober. The easy part is getting the drugs out of your system. The hard part is learning to live that way. I am now doing outpatient and NA and I can't believe how different life and that quality of it are! I am back at work today for the first time since detox and I firmly believe that my life is headed in the right direction. I wish all of you out there success and will keep you in my prayers!

Excellent thats great news,I have also been to re-hab more than ounce. RE-hab for me was like a opportunity to start over,renewed faith in my abilitity to remain clean and sober.The one thing I did was follow their advice an attend meetings 90 in 90 days,as I was unimployed and decided to make meeting a prioritie.I did really well, unfortunately the fact that I was an alcoholic/addict didnt stop me from at the 6 month point to returning to active addiction. In closing again you are in an great position,your battery is recharged.this disease is patient and will tell us,especially when we are doing/feeling great that we are better, and that in my case led me back to active addiction.You dont have to return.Please dont become better, as I know this disease is patient and will wait for our emotions to deceive our intellect. Go to meetings and get a sponsor don't forget. LOL. It's amazing what I found out about addiction itself. Thank God for resources to help us all through.
Probably the 3 most important pieces of advise I got in rehab were: go to meetings; go to meetings; and go to meetings.
