In so much pain...
I think I've asked this before, but I'm in so much pain right now I can barely take it. Right now, where my pain is, is where I'd pop a perc....actually, I'd have already popped like 4 about 3 hours ago, if it were the pre-w/d me... but seriously my head is pounding, my back is in knots, my head hurts so bad my ears hurt...and this is the exact pain that got me into the mess with painkillers. Now here I am, 13 days after my last perc, finally recovering after the horrible w/ds and I want relief so bad that if one of those little white pills were in front of me I would definatly take one. I tried the mild muscle relaxer and an IB 800, let's be serious, that doesn't do s*** for me!?!? My husband says "mind over matter, if you don't mind, it doesn't matter"...well I DO MIND, AND IT DOES MATTER! My pain has always been real. I know the answer isn't in a pill, and I plan on researching solutions, not just masking the pain, but what the hell do I do in the meantime? This is bad...probably the worst pain I've had since being off the percs....
I know I have Imitrex and I'm on Topamax for preventative. This is more tension than migraine...it's almost as painful, but different type of pain. And the Imitrex only works if it's a true migraine and I've wasted the last 3 Imitrex hoping it would help, and those suckers aren't cheap!!! But I REALLY appreciate the advice....I really do.

Imitrex is a really good(non narcotic) drug for migraines. It helped my sinus headaches.
Darvs are weak, but still, the behavior associated is the problem....I've had them before and I just ate 8 at a time.... no good honey no good.
WAAAAAHHHHH. I wanna cry. I know I have a low pain tolerance. But this pain was here before the pill addiction too, so I know a certain amount is really true and not just head games....but I know those head games too...trust me. I used to justify taking a perc for a flippin paper cut. Has anyone heard of Lanacaine? Lidacaine? (sp) I had injections in my knots a few weeks ago and it helped, didn't cure, but helped....wonder if they have a patch or something.... ok, I'm going to think of Brooke on the Intervention episode with her Reumatoid arthritus...or cancer patients...or something more serious than my headaches....ok, I'm getting a grip...Thanks for listening to me whine a bit. loves yas.
I have darvacet refills at the drugstore...really weak narcotic but I know I need to not get them It is an old refill and not even sure it is still good....I am scared of starting the behavior again and going backwards.....it is really sad that I have ruined things for myself as far as pain meds go...I am feeling a bit negative today so excuse me
I have had sinus surgery and have horrible sinus headaches...I thought it would be my back that would do my in....but it is my sinuses trying to bite me....I am going to just get thru today as well...I am going to go back to work and make it
I am right were ur today also. This pain is what got me in this situation also. Not sure what i am going to do. I have been off for 2 months now and i talked to my doctor to day and he called me in tylenol 3. Not sure if i should pick up the script or not. MY DOC was vicodin 7.5. Not sure what to do. Like u said lets just make it threw this hour.....
The pain gets better. I promise. One day soon you see that you popped way too many pills for the little of pain your body really has. The pills trick you into beleiving that you have more than you really do. You'll see.
At 13 days, try a cool menthol rub. Put on paper towel & drape over area or all overnbody. Even rub on forehead.

I have had sinus problems in the past, but it is not an issue right now. just intense back problems which causes the headaches I think....

I'm so sorry. I can feel your pain in your writing. I took a lot of advil and baths but the headache was the worst.

Doubt this helps but I am right there with you todaay and I am on day 13......Have to go back to work as I left at 930...I hope I do not get in trouble but I could not afford to call in sick...I took a nap...took some advil...cant take anything that will make me sleepy cos i gotta go back to work...I am just gonna make it thru today....and worry about it later
