a little but morphine is a shorter detox, when your husband left tx did they give him a relaspe pervention plan, if so i would follow the direction listed
If he has only been on them 11 days I would walk away from it now. I guess I don't understand the issue on the price of the prescriptions. I was on MS Contin 100 mg pills, my script was 120 of them a month (4 x daily) and that script is around $1150. Suboxone is about half of that. The people I know that were on it before me said they got it from an addictionologist or someone like that. I also know methadone clinics do prescribe suboxone as well, but you would have to enroll in there program. People without insurance generally can pay a cheaper weekly amount in cash that covers seeing there docs, counselers, and the couple random drug tests they throw at you a month. The clinics here are $65 a week. I would imagine they would be somewhat close to that in other areas. Seriously though, If its possible, he's only been on suboxone 11 days.... just stop taking it. This stuff can be way worse than the morphine. I was on the Morphine until jumping to methadone in order to try to stop taking pain meds. Methadone is also worse to withdraw from.... wish I knew that 8 months ago when I went to that :(
I have heard its bad froma number of people'So I will talk to his doctor about the withdrawals. thanks
STAY off the sub please. 11 days in, he can get off this now. Do not let him find the sub. Go to a doctor and get hlep for wd symptoms....SUB is no good, unless of course you want to be on it forever. I have been on 3 years, and have struggled to get off...its worse then morphine, oxy's, heroin, vicoden..whatever. Its bad, 11 days is not bad....get off now.
Yeah if we want toopay 645 dollars for a prescript. We dont have that kind of money. He was in treatment a month ago went back on morphine then recheck him back into treatment. He is presently in treatment for two weeks and been on them for11 days.
How long was he in the treatment and how long has he been on sub? The doc's at the center can write a prescription for a 30 day supply and that should be enough. My recomendation and experience would say get off of the sub asap. But not jeopodize his recovery from his drug of choice. But know this if he stays on the sub too long it will become his drug of choice and then you have another set of problems.
