How are you doing? Havent heard from you in awhile. Go ahead and pm me again if you want. I want to know whats up? It sounds like you are coming a long ways since a couple of weeks ago. There is so much you can use for w/ds. This site is full of great info for sleep, anxiety, RSL on & on. I always used alot of liq. vit/min and bs to get going and used the relaxa magnz, Ds, cal for sleep. The salt bath are great. I got used to my sleep vit I was using and had some issues. I got some great advise and now the last three nights I have been sleeping great. Go into my last post about sleep I got alot of Hot Info from all. Protein with all meals is sooo important for energy. Protien drinks are good...And the biggest I will agree with them all because it took me awhile to do is get some EXERCISE it helps to balance the brain and re-directs you out of your self....I am soooo glad you are staying here with us. We come and Go. Also I am adding alot of amino acids to my diet. There are tons for all different reasons.
Hang in I am going to a pot luck tonight at one of my meetings. They have a speaker from out of town. They can be very interesting. Did you set up profile yet? It tooks me months to figure it out Ha! got clean in sept but did not post until dec 2012.
Have you noticed or has any one noticed the light comming back into the eyes. It gets better and better even the skin changes for the good. Nails and hair too....
God Bless keep on it I am very proud of you.

Hi
Your reaction to the Niacin is typical...if you can try the slo release formula and make sure you take with food.. I use and research a lot of alternate treatments.. Niacin has the propensity to flare up causing those exacerbated feelings also your scalp may feel like its on fire too.. You should be ok and if it doesn't go away seek medical treatment ..

Hi I read up on it. The flushing went away feel better I was just scared.  I was taking 1000 mg for hgh i cholesterol but took an extra 1000 because it said it helps w/d.  I just was flipping out until I remembered that's what niacin does.  Will only do my 1000 mg.  thanks for getting back

Yes, there is a warning about niacin flush on five hour energy, but it's not dangerous.

How are you feeling? Good to see you again.

Better it went away but I have such high anixity that I was flipping out.  I am doing tappering on Xanax as well.  Just want to be done with all of this.  But my neck is killing me have a bulging disk that why I took pain pills.  Last Sunday I went from 6 to one I wait until afternoon when I can't take pain.  My husband gives me one a day so I don't get back into taking so many.  Thanks for your input

I take niacin to calm my nerves. It works quite well. I did have a bit of a reaction the last time I took it. My face began to swell and I began to get the "Niacin Flush" I am used to the flush but have never had the face swelling that I have heard so much about. Since I am aware that this happens it did not scare me but I just wanted to let you know that it usually does not mean anything. You should always be aware that anything you take could cause an allergic reaction that could be life threatening. The symptoms of an allergic reaction are swelling of the face throat and tongue. Knowing this, Niacin is pretty safe and taking it usually does not result in an allergic reaction.

Take Care
