Roxicet

Just discovered my daughter is snorting roxi.  Need information on this drug because she wants to stop but told me is it very addictive.  Is that true?  Will suboxone help?

I am so sorry.

You are a wonderful mother. Please know that. She is a lucky girl and does not know it.

Let us know how you are both doing, ok?

Good Luck.

If the suboxone is not working, as she says, then either the dose is not adjusted correctly, or she is lying. I am sorry to say that, but I don't what else to think. I really don't know anyone, including myself, who went on the Sub program and had cravings.

The dead give away is the dirty drug test. If she keeps producing those, then she is using.

As I mentioned, Suboxone blocks opiates, so if she is taking them--then they are not working. She is probably frustrated because she wants to get high and she can't.

If you go to the Suboxone website, you can get information on it and read how it works in the system. This may help you to understand it and perhaps shed some light on what she is doing.

The Suboxone would have kicked in the first day that she took it. Again, a month later it is fully in her system, to say the least.

Everything you said just doesn't add up. By that I mean that people that go on the program do not report what she is saying.

Will let you know how things go after the Dr. appt.  This forum and your comments really help.  Knowing how to handle this is really tuff and getting an opinion from some else is helpful.

Your comment really helped.  We are going back to the Dr. tomorrow and I think I need to start watching the seboxone melt under her tongue.  She is not being honest with me---again.

She is taking seboxone but she has yet to have a clean drug test.  Her response to me is that she still has cravings.  I am now concerned that the sebox might not be working for her.  It has been one month so does it take longer?  Just need information on how to help her.

In the community forum, you just said that she was already taking Suboxone.
