I just noticed you're from Washington.  Do you know where Sumas is?  I own a Chicago based construction company that does work all over the U.S. and right now I have 4 guys in Sumas, WA....very close to the Canadian border.  We're working for a company called IKO Pacific (the shingle maker), if by any chance you've heard of it.  Just thought I'd ask.  BTW, I also climbed Mt. Baker before...gotta love the Cascades.

I haven't driven up there for awhile. The last trip to Canada was on the train. then we boarded a cruise ship back to Seattle. It was a fun overnighter.

Sumas is about a 25 min. drive straight north of bellingham.

I have never heard of that town. Yes the Cascades and the Olympics are beautiful. Look in my photos for my backyard view of Mt. Rainier.
