Rational Recovery

Hello all
A week or so ago there was a post regarding the book rational recovery. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this approach and found it helpful?

The books I mentioned are more focused on the nutritional side to recovery. There are formulations for different moods. Eating right and taking the right supplements and vitamins is KEY to a successful recovery! I have a little bit posted in my journals. along with a link.

Thanks. I may check those out. I have the RR book. The short of it is AVRT(addictive voice recognition therapy?) anyhow when your brain tells you to use- they say that is the "beast" a primative part of the brain and once you know where the thoughts to use are coming from you can override them with higher thinking.The book is long and kinda boring. I think currently I lack the will...

I am not familiar with that book. There are two books that have helped otheres here. Seven weeks to Sobriety and End Your addiction now.
