TOUGH

I started on Vicoden in 06 for my hip. I was only 40 and needed hip replacement. My doctor advised me to take the pain as long as possible, for i was too young for replacement and would likely have to repeat after around 15 to 20 years. I was put on Vicoden and the polls i have read sum it up for me also. Needed more and more. felt depressed if i did not have one in the morning and did not want to go to work etc. This is the only addiction i have ever had and like the rest i have read, realized this myself. Took my last one Sat. night, today is wed. and finally felling a little better. Just had a co-worker walk in and say i have 20 of those good ones with the red flakes. I wanted to get them bad, but told him to shut the door. I told him what i was going through and to please do not offer it any more. He complied. Wish me luck guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the clean time!!  Lesa gave you good advice.  Try and be patient thru this period as time is your friend.  Your head will feel foggy for a bit but the clearness will soon be upon you.

There is nothing better than seeing the world thru the eyes of our grandbabies.  I am actually heading to see mine in about 5 minutes.  They are a gift and so is our sobriety.  Hold them both sacred~~sara
