What can I expect when I start to detox from Suboxone?

trouble with having a doctor taper you is that alot of sub doctors like to keep patients on it for a very long time.. Im on it now to get off of opana abuse... my dr started me @ 24mg & wants me to stay on that for at least a year... im tapering myself and when im done im done with the doctor... i think if you taper you will have minimial wds... im only on day 5 and already cut my mg in half... today i am doing 12mg... ill to that for 1 more day then decrease... i wrote myself a taper that will hopfully keep me out of bad wds... i know i may have some uncomfortable days but i guess thats the price ill pay for doing this to myself... i hope to be completely off in about 21 days... if i need "crumbs" after that... then ill extend it for a few days on crumbs... i hope all the best for you... congrats for gettin off of the m&m... :)

its only a13 day detox off methadone and morphine? ya i don't know that that will be enough time to get you threw all of the withdrawl hopefully someone with methadone exp will post its the weekend and thing tend to be slow on the weekend hang in there

yes my docter has talked im on detox only started at 16mg now at 12mg and its a 13 day detox what im asking is will i still be sick after the detox

you need to discuss this with your doctor. I dont think it should be to bad if you have a good taper plan from your doctor ..Has he said anything about how long he want you on it ?

i've been on for six days in a program to kick methadone and morphine, currently taking 11mgs a day
