Ga Guy and Avisg are right on. Suboxone must be tapered to a very low dose before quitting, litterally crumbs. Talk with your doctor about a taper program and stick to it - you will be just fine.
They can be very bad as ga guy said the best way to minimize WD
is to slowly taper all of the way down under.5mg .Have you been getting recovery care?
Sub can be a helpful tool in recovery but you have to get the recover
y care as well or the chance of relapse is very high. Discuss this with your doctor .Welcome and I hope you conitue to post we have a great community here.

The people that have had the best success at withdrawing from Suboxone with little withdrawal symptoms (myself included) tapered down to dosages below .5mg a day. If you feel you've done the mental work that will allow you to come off the Suboxone, then talk to your doctor about a taper program. Don't try doing it on your own. Like I said, doses below .5mg give you the best chance of decreased withdrawals.
