Taper after 2weeks of suboxone

I'm wondering if I can get opinions from the people that have taken suboxone. I started out at 8mgs on Jan 27th and then I was moved up to 10mgs last week. I'm guessing its working I'm not craving as much as I normally do when I'm detoxing , i do still have cravings though. I cant open a regular pill bottle without the thought of chewing up a Norco come into mind but I don't have any anxiety. I just feel so blah, I could sleep all day! I have 3 active boys and I don't like feeling this way. Is this the way most people feel? Is it too early to start tapering? I know it's probably better to help with WD since I havent been taling them long. yet i don't want to quit early if I really do need to stay on it.

I was taking 20-30 Norcos or up to 20 Tramadol a day, I switched them up. I've known I liked opiates for a long time but to be fully addicted started 2 yrs ago. Thanks for the advice! I go see my dr on Thursday so I'll for sure speak with her about it. Just wanted to get some other opinions!

HI!  I was on Subs for 1 1/2 years.  In the beginning I felt just like you, so tired and no energy, but it gets better. We aren''t allowed to give any taper advice here, but I will say I started tapering with the help of my doctor about 6 months before I jumped. If you are having cravings, you may not want to start tapering in my opinion.  You might be setting yourself up for failure. How long were your taking Norcos?   Keep posting with questions, there are several people here who have been on subs.  Good luck to you!
