ITS BEEN 3 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!

HI EVERYONE, ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE I BEEN HERE. I USED TO BE SCAREDMOMMI I WAS A PERC ADDICT. I HAD TO CHANGE MY NAME CAUSE I HAVENT BEEN ON IN A LONG TIME. I HAVE BEEN CLEAN FOR 3 YEARS. WELL IT WAS 3 YEAR AUG 26. I OWE A LOT OF IT TO HERE. ALL THE SUPPPORT I GOT FOR EVERYONE WAS GREAT AND NOW I WANT TO HELP SOMEONE. I WILL ADMIT IT IS A FIGHT EVERYDAY SOME DAYS ARE EASIER THEN OTHERS. BUT MY LIFE HAS BEEN BETTER. I SAVED MY MARRIAGE (WHICH ALMOST DIDNT HAPPEN CAUSE OF MY ADDICTION) AND MY KIDS ARE WAY BETTER AND HAPPIER. I DIDNT EVEN RELIZE THEN THEY KNEW SOMETHING WASNT RIGHT WITH MOMMY THATS WHAT HIT ME THE MOST. BUT IM SORRY I LEFT FOR SO LONG BUT IM NOT GOINGING A WAY NOW AND IF I CAN HELP JUST ONE PERSON WILL MAKE ME HAPPY. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL. ITS A BATTLE BUT ITS A BATTLE YOU HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET YOUR LIFE BACK.

thank you everyone :-). thats why i wanted to come back i want someone to hear my story and know it can be done. like i said it was hard and still is somedays but you just have to push on its worth it to have control of your life again

i remeber that heart picture. i was sooo happy i was clean the day i got married. im still clean from then. i went threw some financial problems that where hard but we are getting through it.

i used sub. i know alot of people dont like it. but it really helped me. i started out at 4 a day and my body naturally kicked me off it. and i think i was just tired of it all but didnt know how to stop. the best thing i every did was sat my family down and told them everything i pretty much interventioned myself. i dont think sub or no sub i wouldnt have been able to do it myself. support was the biggest part in my getting clean. and i left everything about it behind, friends and all. i dont want any reminders of it. and i will admit even 3 years later i still have cravings that could but me over the edge but i have learned what helps first i learn during a bad craving tell someone they can help destract you everytime one hits i tell my husband and we go for a walk of he just simply starts tickling me what ever helps. but im happier being clean, :0)

Congratulations and what a great success you have had.  How did you do it finally, its nice to hear when people beat it and how they do it?
