Too Late.

All to often we hear the term,"Why did I wait this long?" Days ,weeks months pass before we suddenly get a wake up call. What is it that wakes us up to what we are doing to ourselves. How we got into this is not that important once you have been initiated into. "How are we going to get out of it?" becomes the important question now. Many posts here have given insight into various ways of dealing with the multitude of drugs that hold us captive. We each have a different mindset in regards to our problem despite the fact that we could be on the same drug. Dealing with it in a positive manner and avoiding the negativity of anyone is extremely important to establishing the right road to walk on. In the past few days I have noticed some extremely mind shattering posts and some unbelievably great comments in support of whoever is feeling the ground shifting under their feet. Every day this forum grows stronger and better. The positive and heartfelt posts by those who feel an empathy for those in dire straits and the willingness to set aside their own problems for a moment in order to try and assist somehow, says a lot for all who dwell here. "Lean on me," this expression used by many who are also having problems says a lot for the humanity that is constantly being shown here.

To continue on from my above post. I am extremely impressed by your eerie insight in to some of the members and their problems and how you seem to find the right thing to say. I am stating a fact when I say you are a defenite credit to this forum. I am not a religious man by any means, but I can't help thinking,"God bless this girl."

Wow -- what a great post.  I was here on the forum ("lurking" as I've heard it described) many months ago.....and lost touch.....and kept taking pills.....and I'm back....and I remember your posts from back then.  Your insights always truly amazed me.  You are an inspiration yourself.  Thanks for a great post.  You're right -- the humanity on these pages is indescribable.  You cannot tell me that God is not present here.
