Thanks, that is a thoughtful post. I appreciate it. I will look up the pain management forum. I did forget to say that if I take a Vicodin, I skip one of the Tylenols so that I'm not getting more than 2000 mg. I should have said that in the first post.

ceebeee,
med help has a great pain management forum I would go check it out. However if your pain level is getting worse and you feel like you need more pain relive you really should be discussing that with your doctor ,If you are already taking 2000 mg of apap and you are going to add vics your are going to be on a whole lot of apap and calamity is right you can damage your liver .PLZ check out the PM forum and talk to your doctor .
That was nasty and uncalled for. I wasn't trying to offend anyone. I was trying to do some research because I'm not always sure that everything a doc gives me is ok. Since I read SEVERAL other posts HERE about vicodin and tramadol, I assumed (wrongly, I guess) that someone here with experience could help me know how dangerous or not dangerous this combination can be.
Now, for anyone who has a REAL answer, I have been on and off several types of pain medication for my fibromyalgia over the last year and a hlaf, and if you read my previous post, hopefully, you will understand. No, I am not an addict but I am in a lot of pain, most of my waking hours. I'd like to try an avoid becoming an addict, so I'm sincerely looking for answers from people who have experienced having docs prescribe a lot of different combinations.
Thank you to any and all you are will to lend a helping hand.
