that is a symptom of IBS....going from `1 extreme to the other...and "heavy" flow at that time of the month are all symptoms of fibro also.... i am just remembering things to pass onto you as i remember them...i am sure there will be more...and i really hope you are writing all this down for your doctors appt.....i HAVE to write things down (EVERYTHING) or i will forget, ...yet another symptom of fibro...confusion and forgetfulness (fibro fog) back to the IBS issue, are you actually finding your B.M.'s painful, wether constipated or the other way? i'll check in with you later, if you want to talk more privately you can e-mail me, i dont mind...have a great day hun...XO
that is awesome girl.. You are almost there... Keep trudging along..
When I used to actually get one.. They were awful.. That is why I did the Depo and this ring thing.. so I didn't have to go through it.. So I haven't had one in years.
I don't know if I have IBS or not.. I have issues with being constipated.. and then the opposite.. It goes in cycles.
I had anxiety for ever... My shrink called it nervous depression.. I am now off all meds for it since I wanted to go "all naural"
i also wanted to tell you i dropped my dose down today to 10mg, i didnt dare go right to 8mg...feeling ok so far
i know you probably went to bed..but i wanted to ask you this so i dont forget....how are your menstrual periods/cycles when you have on (and i mean "flow, heavy or light)? do you have irritable bowel syndrome? and do you have any "mental issues" phobias, disorders, anxiety, panic, depression....thats all...just dont want to forget to ask you tomorrow...
rheumatoid arthritis runs in my family also...my grand mothers hands and feet are totally disfigured from it. i did get the "RA" blood test done to see if i have it, and i dont haave it and never will,,,have you had that test done yet, probably best to rule that out first...nitey-nite sweetie
Thanks for all your help and concern.. My hubby of course thinks I am crazy self diagnosing myself via the internet... but I just want to be aware.. and my mom brought it up last week.. She has rheumatoid arthritis in her neck and it runs in her family.. 7 out of 10 kids have it and her father was crippled from it in a nursing home.. so we were talking and she brought up fibro.. i looked it up and started researching and it was the first thing that made sense to me..
I am off to bed shortly... be back in the morning...
Love ya girl..
i think you have fibro...that description you just gave me about the constant need to stretch your calves and burning feeling...sounds like fibro to me...but in case you didnt know i am not a doctor i just play one on med-help forums!! (LOL) well i hope you find out soon so you can start to learn how to deal with it, things to avoid etc...there are people who have gone years with pain and problems like this and took them 6-8 years and countless doctors before they got a diagnoses. so if you really think you have fibro, and the doc says you dont, get another opinion...unless he has some other diagnoses to offer you for your pain and problems....
Yes i am right handed.. I cut with the right and I hold the blow dryer with the right so it gets alot of use... its probably not related and more of like tendonitis... My ankles have also been bothering me this week.. and I feel like I am getting RLS... but not the twitching kind... just the constant need to stretch them my calves have this burning feeling and I need to stretch them but it doesn't help..
it all sounds like fibro to me except the wrist thing, but that could be unrelated problem...are you right handed? when cutting hair do you cut with right hand ?
The pain that I am mainly worried about is my whole neck, shoulders. and my whole back into my butt cheeks.. and my calves and ankles. Most of it is muscle pain. some of my joints in my neck hurt but I am told that is the arthritis and my curve is non existant, and headaches that are the tension type.
MY right wrist is the one that hurts most often. It gets used alot more though with my job since I am right handed. All of my fingets hurt and feel swollen. But I dont think they are actually swollen. And when my jaw hurts its mainly the right side.
I get pins and needles in my feet and arms... both feet and usually my right arm.
when you say you have pain...is it on both sides at the same time? thats is how fibro is...it doesnt move around and usually if right wrist hurts..then left one should too? just keep an eye on it and keep me posted...i am MORE than happy to try to help anyway i can....
I am hanging in there... Busy work day equals screaming pain. i got my two ice packs on now.. Yes they were helpful. I think there is a good possiblility that I do.. I guess I will talk to the doctor on Monday. i am told he is one of the best rhuematologist in Tampa. Most of my symptoms match with that more than anything else i have looked at. At first I though Rheumatoid arthritis but my joint pain is not parallel.. I have joint pain in my right wrist but not my left. And I get knee pain but also generally only one side. So the muscle stuff is more my concern. I sleep terribly. I also have has a constipation/diaarreah issue before pills and now after the same thing. I also get jaw pain and pressure..and headaches. I do get some concentration problems but haven't felt the so called "fog" that I was aware of.
Thanks so much for helping me figure this out
