Lion attack in Dream

Good morning all
Well last night I was having trouble falling asleep( I was thinking about my tapering when my tramadol arrives) Well it must have been anxiety. After about an hour I finally fell asleep, and then I suddenly awoke In Africa. Smack dab in the frigging bush of the Safari. Well to my surprise I had my pitbull Sinbad with me and a prescription of percocet. Well almost instantly I heard lions roaring and they were coming my direction. I freaked. My dog started growling and wanted to head in the direction of the lions. I started running and called him and he followed and we ran and ran as the noise of the lions got closer. By the way I peed my pants while running. I found a tree and climbed up it, but my dog was standing his territory(typical Pitbull). I saw the lions about 100 feet away and called Sinbad and he started to jump up towards me. I grabbed his collar and pulled him up and held onto him and climbed another 20 feet into this tree. At that time the lions were all around the tree. I was shaking so hard the leaves of the tree were falling off. I remembered my percocet in my pocket and took two of them. After they started calming me down and about an hour later the lions finally left. Well im holding onto this big branch with a 75 pound pitbull like superglue. Next thing I know, i hear a growling above me. I thought what the hell, and looked up and there was a Leopard in the tree(peed my pants again) He started to climb down towards us and I thought this is it, and when he got withing eating distance, I woke up in a sweat. Wow, I havent had a dream like that in a long time. Checked myself just to make sure i hadnt pissed on my self and got up. I couldnt go back to sleep. Turned on the TV and flipped through the channels, and would you believe it, on Discovery they had Lions in Africa battling Hyenas. No joke.  Im sure Ill get a goodnights sleep tonight.  Have a good day.    elvistcb

OMG your dream freaked me out! I had a very similar one last night, and googled "lion attack" dreams. Yours came up in the search. I dreamed I was camping in an African-looking desert area, and a lion ran into my camp. I played dead, and it kept mouthing my head and neck area without actually biting me. My pitbull Sadie suddenly showed up, and the lion went after her. I ran away as they fought, and Sadie somehow got away from the lion. I called out to her, but she was bloody and disoriented and couldn't find me right away. She finally found me, and we hid from the lion. I woke up in a panic, and couldn't go back to sleep. I have nightmares all the time, but this was my first lion attack, I have no idea what it's supposed to mean.

The lions are your addiction chasing you. It is funny how are dreams seem so real at times. Glad the buggers didn't have you for supper! Good luck!!
