I'm somewhat with GA Guy....when I first started taking vics it was to sleep at night...and yes, some energy during the day. But as my consumption and dependence increased, the more convinced I am that they contributed to my current depression condition, though there are certainly other factors at home that help. But the more I realized my addiction, the depression worsened.
an I think GA's final sentence makes perfect sense.

They gave me energy in the daytime and allowed me to sleep at night. Opiates are a weird drug class. The only way you're gonna know what to expect is to try. So, try weaning, or cold turkey, try anything...and if things get beyond your control...start back taking them and get some professional help then.
They are both, depending on your mental outlook on them. For you? They sound like anti depressants..."steroids to work out" sounds like they give you a "pick me up" and by that I can relate...what Im saying is, I used to work high all the time and it allowed my stamina to be extremely longer lasting and I felt less pain and discomfort due to overworking my muscles from lactic acid buildup.
But I would say you are at such a low dosage that you wouldnt have a probelm. But if you do, try them in thirds and ween yourself down. Good luck!
can someone set the record straight?? are they depressants or anti depressants...i have heard convincing arguments of both...thx again
depression is the only withdrawal symptom im worried about....anything else i can handle....i think...thx
what if i go cold turkey, then realize that was not a good idea, do i then go to cutting them in thirds, etc...or is it only useful to do so when getting off right away...??
That's a very low dosage. How about cutting the pills into thirds, doing that for a few days, then drop down by another third, and then just go cold turkey. The wd's should not be bad at all.
should i ween off?? even at such low doses...seems like an excuse to still take them..i cannot handle more depressive triggers...already on lexapro, lamictal, geodon, etc.....thanks for advice!
