Yep and i hope to be successful! but its going to be hard! its good to know tht i can get support here at all times! xox
You got your head on straight. Good for you. Some people think they can just flip a switch and it's over. Not the case, and if you are aware of it, then it really isn't that hard to stay sober. Your job is to now stay away from those type of things, right?
Even in 10 years time i know il probably still have the occasional craving or the "i wonder what it would be like just one last time" but its important to battle through those thoughts and i hope that you stay strong through them also! :) And congrats for 6 months! its a big achievment! x x x x x love for you!
It has been 6 months for me, and I still get those cravings. Mostly mentally, not physically. So, as you see, it takes time. Do not let anyone make you believe there is a period on the end of the addiction sentence. It is more like this..............
i will hang in there with you. Its good having someone to support you and for you to support who is at the same stage as you and you are only a couple of days ahead of me :) If you dont mind me asking what are you withdrawing from?
Higs & love to you and everyone else!
xxxxx
You guys are great! I am having a crazy day to! thanks for your post.
After today I really have a new sense of hope and I actually feel happy (just hope it lasts). I'm hangin in there...so hang in there with me!
in 3 hours il be onto day two its been 45 hours so far. keep strong il pray for you! xxx
Good luck! I know exactly what you're going through..I felt like that between days 1-3..I'm on day 4 and feel a lot better (started off rocky, but got a whole lot better). I'm actually able to catch up on some work. Hang in there...I know it's hard, but it does get better. Knowing that I never want to go through the w/d again helps me when I'm craving. How long have you been quit?
Hey I believe in you, you do have the power within! God put it there, he always gives us a way out..........before you use ask him for help even if you dont believe try it he will comfort you! I am praying right now........yes the power of love is stronger than any drug! Hang in there angel. Im here if you want to talk xoxoxoxo
i was hoping to hear from you. Your comment brought a tear to my eye. this is harder than i ever imagined it would be. I underestimated the power of the drugs. Lets hope the power of love and the power of my mind is strong enough! xoxoxoxox
I am so proud of you! Dont stop now you can do it! This wont last forever and it wont kill you! Think of your cousin and family and stay strong. Remember you are worth it:)ooooooxxxxx
thanks for replying god give us strength bcoz we can do this :) It feels better knowing im not the only one. I dont know how much more i can handle though x
be strong hun..you know deep in your heart you want this...dont let the withdrawals trick you into thinking any differently, be stronger than your thoughts and cravings...the worst of the sickness will soon pass...hold on and keep your chin up girl...you can do this...
It can't be much worse than my cravings right now....I'm working on 24 hours of a 10 year 10-20 per day hydro addiction....I feel like ****...but knowing someone else out there right now is thinking about you and hoping you keep going is a pretty strong feeling...Think of all the good things about yourself and how happy you can choose to be!
Don't Quit Trying!
