Good Sunday morning:
I have been trying to post a new question. But, as of 7:11E, the site thinks it has reached the limit for the day.
The Odyssey is a book written by Homer in about 800 BC. It amazes me how little people have changed in 2,800 years. Even then an anology about loosing all that is good and worthwhile for a false promise struck home.
Day 7 here and doing well. Has anyone heard fron Chezz?

Hello all and thanks for the comments.
Allisa,That movie sounds interesting, I think I'll rent it.
Bmac, it is good to hear you got a good nurse and doc to count on. That should take away sone of the anxiety. When they listed me as SSI, they marked permanent rather than temporary as some injuries may require. I have permanent chronic type illnesses and they do not count alcoholism as one of them. Luckily I am off the booze anyhow. But if I do go back to work, and start to make more money then they would drop the SSI until needed again.
By the way, if you get a direct deposit into your checking account you have no waiting for the mail service for a check. They will schedule you a particular day of the month to count on. They have not let me down yet except I can not get medecare until January, which is two years after the initial acceptance letter. That sux because for now I have no insurance.
Also for you and Dudemachanic, I am a song writer on the side, have one cassette tape out all about typhoons and chasing, already sold out along time ago, and I have a master CD ready for CD replecation all about lifes struggles with alcholism, drugs and so on. I have to save up some money for that though before putting it on the market. I also have many raw songs without the background instrumentation, only the words and basic music theme. Over 30 songs wating to be arranged.
Dudemachanic I love the song (silent running) by the way. You mentioned that in another post.
Have a good day all and I'll be online again sometime tomorrow. I have an early wake up call for tomorrow.
Thanks for the info.I have been on it since 1992 I think.Well
soc.sec.disability anyway.I was turned down twice and went before a jugde and he didn't even ask me one question.I was standing in a body brace and he just looked at my lawyer and
said ,approved.I did get a huge back check, but we all know where
that went.God,if I had all that money back today.
thanks again,
bmac
