It does take awhile to get our brain rewired after we stop the meds.  If it does continue and is bothersome just check with the doctor.  Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Have you had vertigo before?  I would ask your doctor about that.  I had vertigo all the time while i was using.  Havent had it since.  I have heard others comment about the metallic taste in their mouth.  Spicy foods will help with that or tomato based foods.  Congrats on getting off valium.  That is a hard one.

Hey Karl, I'm not sure if I can really answer your question in a knowledgeable way either, but I wanted to tell you that I had a lot of really, really weird quasi-neurological symptoms when I got off benzos.  They lasted for some time/are still there once in a while.  But yes, I think you should seek medical advice.  Keep posting and congrats on a fine accomplishment!

I don't know the answer to your question.  But I just wanted to say congratulations on getting clean.  and you might want to research PAWS - post acute withdrawal syndrome.
