I have to agree with Vicki- I used to love to sit outside on my deck, day or night and just count my blessings, play with my dogs, lay in the sun, whatever - I have 9 days no Norco's and have sat outside the past 3 days and just enjoyed God's creations and my freedom from those nasty little pills!

I am coming up to 7 months clean and life has changed so much since quitting dope. I feel like I am finally free and not a prisoner to drugs no more, it was hell in active use and I am thankful everyday that I am clean now, even that bad days. Being positive is so important to my recovery. Nice post!

What a great post...

I'm thankful that I was able to make the jump and even though it's hard here it is at day 9, I'm thankful that I found this forum, thankful that my mom was so helpful throughout this whole process.

Oh and sooo very happy I'm not watching the darn clock anymore :)

Grateful for making it to day 13 - still not 100%, but doing better every day. I'm so grateful for my supportive, non-judgmental husband, my son, my job and my Lord who is helping me every day, hour, minute.  Thank you everyone for your inspiration and encouragement!

Gratefull for 371 days off Oxy & nearly 9 months off cigarettes.  Very gratefull that I no longer have any bad days. Only have good days and great days.  Good days are when everything goes my way with no problems, and I dont use.  The great days are the days when nothing goes my way and I have all kinds of problems, but I still dont
use.  Also gratefull for all of the dedicated people here who go out of their way to help others,  keep up the good work.  guv
