is sub w/d really that bad?

The concensus is that the sub w/d,s are pretty bad, but it sounds like methadone is worse. My doc was very concerned about making sure I wasn't feeling any w/d symptoms. Its hard to believe he would torture me. Not that I want to but, what would happen if I took a perc? Just curious.

i think it's still going to be on same level as methadone w/d. both being long acting opiates... the w/d takes a long time. my drug case worker says he hasn't noticed much difference in w/d length or intensity between the two. i know people who switched to sub from methadone, and so far none have managed to get off that yet either.

I think when we start getting some long term statics about suboxone we will have more of an idea .One of the issues with sub is its only been available for 6 years .

Methadone is a monster that takes forever to get past....buprenorphine is more subtle, but its a toss up - its also different for everyone. You wouldnt be tossed into horrific w/d's if you took a perc - but why do you want to?
