methadone/soar throat

I am on 50mgs of methadone" 2months and 3weeks" I am having a soar throat after about 5 hours of dosing,it goes away by the end of the day. Only been the last 3 days. Is this an allergic reaction to this c**p?

Hi..I used to get very sore throats when I was doing my Methadone..BUT I was snorting it and also started to add Adderral to it to make it stretch. I do not have ADHD so it would get me really Buzzed Up!
SO..I am not sure why you are getting sore throats. I would go and talk to a DR if it continues..There could be a Bug going around.
Be Safe and take your time if you are getting off the Dones. Mine was prescribed for pain for about 12 years and I got really out of line with it. A bit over 2 years off since I went c/t off of 3 meds and it was no walk in the park. Never go up just go down..Wishing you the best. The sooner the better on getting off this med. It is very synthetic and does not like to let go. Just have patience and give it time. Make sure you drink lots of fluids right now.

So I asked to taper 1mg every other day should be off in 3 months is this a good plan?

Hi well some people get that from there dose if so drink a glass of water to wash it down if I where you I wold start to taper off as soon as you can if this crap gets a hold of you it is a monster to kick
