I agree with jrizzy, i think making the change to suboxone would be a good one.

I was on suboxone for just over a year...started at 10mg and tapered right down to .25mg..so pretty much a crumb, and the only withdrawals i got were headaches and fatigue. (though everyones experiences are different). And im now 48 days off suboxone and no relapses :D

My doctor told me suboxone would be easier to come off than Methadone.

I say make the change *nods* :)

Hey I think thats a wise decision. With the metahdone you can still get high from other pills and suboxone you cant get high from pain pills when you take. I think its a good idea. I was on subs for two years wish I would have been on less but it was helpful to get my life in order. But at the same time it is addictive too so thats why I say try to be on it as short as possible. Other positives and negatives. Theres a little booklet that tells you all about suboxone. I am clean 20 days from subs. My brother was on methadone and I was on subs and I did alot better no offense to people that have good outcomes on methadone. Just my opinion. Hang in there. I think subs our a better way than the methadone.
