ck, I am addicted to vicodin. it is super expensive, especially without a prescription. i admire your effort to quit and wish you the best of luck.
Today is day 3 no vicodin. I am exhausted, but it is bearable. I am trying to take less darvocets as well. I called in sick to work today because I knew it would be a tough day and lucky enough, I have plenty of sick days. I have to go to work tomorrow which I am not looking forward to, but it will be ok. I want to save a day of sick time for when I am out of darvocet.
Are you doing the same thing (w/ding from vikes withdarvocet?)
Great work! Like everyone is saying though, be careful of the darvocet as some people are addicted to just those. They don't do anything for me. They are helping with the w/d's but you may go through some more when you stop those. Keep posting and take care. Congratulations on the beginning of your recovery!!!!
Thanks everyone! Still no vikes. It is hard, but the darvocet is helping. I need to watch that though. I hope to stop all pills very soon. I understand how it feels to be so weak! I have been so weak for 2 1/2 years. My life has basically revolved around pills... getting them, wondering if I was going to run out, spending way too much of my income on them. It took me loosing my connection (she just called me today and I haven't called her back.) I appreciate all of the positive feedback. Good luck to all of you who are in the process of some sort of recovery! I will keep posting.
congrats....you have made it further then me. I am so weak! gosh I wish for day one. You should keep posting on here AND remember to be hoenst with yourself...maybe even sign posts with yoru signature and clean date! even if you have to keep starting over. keep yourself in check!! and congrats again!!!!!! good job. -KeepThehope-
welcome , Congrats !!!! the next few day will not rough but it does get better .Trust me when I say in the long run you will be much happier. Be very carful with the darvocet so you dont trade one addiction in foe another. Post often so we know how you are doing.

Hi and Welcome!
Congrats on Day 1!
No, darvocet is not as strong as hydrocodone; however, you do want to get to the point where you are not taking pills.
You ARE taking a step in the right direction. Good for you.
Keep posting and letting us know how you are doing.
