need an answer

I will be going with out patient surgery to have a  torn tendent repaired in my finger, the doctor said they can give me something in the shoulder instead of putting me to sleep to do the operation,do I need to stop taking my suboxone for this procedure . And what will they use in the shoulder..

You need to talk to your surgeon and anesthesiologist about this.  It's possible they'll use local anesthetic, "twilight" sleep, or maybe a nerve block, but your physicians need to know everything you're on so they can be safe when giving you any medication or anesthesia.
