I have no idea if she is registered. I'm thinking maybe she isn't because I did go on a website and they gave a listing of all the doctors that do that kind of treatment in Pa. and she wasn't on it. You said there are other meds that can help? can you tell me what? I can write them down and ask her about them. What is Coladine??
do you know if your doctor is registered to prescribe suboxone? there are other drugs if she does not prescribe sub that can lessen WD symptoms ..Coladine (spelling ) is one .
Gosh, I hope she can do something or i can take something ! I am soooo nervous and excited at the same time about my appt!!!
I am not saying you wot be able to find a doctor that will prescribe sub ,there are a few. I have known 2 here in the last year that they were able to find a doctor willing to do it .The problems with ultram is being that they don't consider it to be an opiate. You can look around and see .Let me know what you find out
Thanks so much for the info. I take anywhere from 600-800mg per day!!! I went cold turkey for three days and ended up in the ER! I already take an anti-depressant....zoloft 100mg/daily so I don't know if she'll give me another one. I have failed several times now at getting off them. Twice I failed c/t and once I failed trying to ween. What is colonodin??? Does that really help? I can't go c/t again! I can't miss that much work again and I have three little ones and the last time, I couldn't even take care of them, they were running around the house like wild indians!! :(
I know alot about suboxone...but i am sorry, i am of no help with ultram, hang in there, i am sure someone who knows will chime in soon...i do know that if you are looking for suboxone your doctor has to be certified to prescribe it, you cant get suboxone to treat addiction from just any doctor hun. also it is best to make sure you have tried to quit other ways first, cold turkey, taper...they NORMALLY wont give it to someone that has not tried these other options in the past, suboxone is used for people with chronic addiction and chronic relapses after getting clean...maybe this does suit you? i dont know, just sharing information with you...
good luck...
i was wondering kinda bout the same thing awhile ago and im 16 days clean today and i feel really good and i came off from prolly 600 mgs of ultrams ct i felts pretty crappy the first weak and a half but that friday i went to worok and it like healed me just geting my mind off it gave me tons of energy and i feel normal now
this is what id do
acually its what i did do
i went to the doc and got anti depresents cause ultrams mess up sarotonin lvl and the anti depresents will put it in check they do take a while to kick in im not even sure if theyve acually kicked in to the fullest but it prolly has helped me
i wouldnt go with sub it takes a few days but youll start feelin beter before you know it and ultrams arnt clasified as an narcotic so i dunno if the doc would but i dunno
suboxone is tool for getting off opiates. i am not sure if will help with ultrams. most take it after several attempts and failures to get clean. some use colonodin for the accute symptoms of w/ds. how long and how many trams did you take?
